| An important and great looking Blues poster. AOR has this poster as 1959, but it really is from 1953 given the photos and song listings used on the poster. As seen in the movie "Ray" - Ray Charles was one of Lowell Fulson's first lead signers! Charles left to go on his own in February 1952, so I doubt he sang and played with Lowell that evening - but maybe so. An important early blues poster with a terrific design. Many a great posters and acts came out of the Sunset Terrace Ballroom. |
